There are several maps in Cold Steel which have different settings, styles and themes for Combatants to immerse themselves in. Here is a list of all the maps available in Cold Steel. So far, the game has 3 maps.

Lobby

Though not exactly a 'map', and technically would be the first one, is simply the first built place in Cold Steel.

Description:

The Combatants' barracks. The best place to re-arm themselves. Stuffed with weaponry and armor, as well as the bunkbeds for resting.

Layout:

Fairly small, for now.

Game Modes:

Nordlands

The very first map ever added into Cold Steel is the Nordlands. Welcoming fighters with the cold breeze, snowy lands held by the Vikings with a defensive village and warm campfires.

Description:

A raid on a Viking village located deep within Iceland.

Layout:

The map is decently-sized, allowing combatants to have certain freedom in how they play against their opponents. The flat terrain combined with some vertical play up the roofing of certain buildings add a bit of variety as well.

Elimination (ELM), Team Elimination (TELM), Deathmatch (DM), Team Deathmatch (TDM), Capture the Flag (CTF), Tournament (TNM)

Mandatory Arena

The second map to join the rotation of Cold Steel, the Mandatory Arena, named after the seemingly hidden rule in fighting games to have an arena map.

Description:

An arena located within the compound of a European city, perfect for the competitive-hearted. Official tournaments are held here.

Layout:

A smaller-sized map which almost forces close melee combat amongst the fighters. Cover

provided to reduce the risk of ranged attacks.

Elimination (ELM), Team Elimination (TELM), Deathmatch (DM), Team Deathmatch (TDM), Tournament (TNM)

Epic Battle Fantasy IV - Van al Tag (Phyrnna)

Castello Ponte

The third map for Cold Steel, Castello Ponte of Italy, which translates to Bridge Castle. Preparati per la battaglia!

Description:

Palace castle located over coastlines of Italy, built to house the regional royalty. Diplomatically run during their era.

Layout:

The biggest map in Cold Steel so far, a castle on an island over the coast connected to the mainland via bridge.

Game Modes:

Elimination (ELM), Team Elimination (TELM), Deathmatch (DM), Team Deathmatch (TDM), Capture the Flag (CTF), Tournament (TNM)

Soundtrack:
